Conveniently located at 168 Main Road, Biggin Hill, Kent, EMEA TN16 3BB, this store offers a delightful range of high-quality products that cater to both everyday essentials and gourmet desires.

As a food reviewer at Pops Cafe, I take immense pleasure in exploring shops that promise both quality and variety; Waitrose & Partners - Biggin Hill certainly makes the cut with its impressive lineup. From crisp, vibrant British Broccoli Crown at just £1.50 to the savory Essential British Roast Ham Slices priced at a modest £1.30, the selection shines a spotlight on local produce that elevates any meal.

  • Fresh Produce: The store is known for its aromatic herbs, such as Cooks' Ingredients Aromatic Basil (£2.80), and a variety of fruits and vegetables that are both fresh and flavorful.
  • Bakery Goods: One cannot miss the irresistible Mini Pains Au Chocolat (£2.40) or the soft and inviting Ciabatta Soft White Bread (£2.40), perfect for any breakfast or lunch spread.
  • Dairy Options: The selection includes essentials like Essential Salted Dairy Butter (£2.70) and delectable All Butter Scones (£2.40), adding richness to your dining experience.
  • Gourmet Takeaways: For those on the go, options like No.1 Satay Style Chicken Skewers (£9.60) and Sushi Daily Menu Two (£11) offer convenience without sacrificing quality.

Despite the top-notch products, some customer feedback indicates challenges with store maintenance and staffing issues, which have been highlighted in recent reviews. While the atmosphere of the store sometimes feels impacted by these concerns, the quality of the products remains a strong selling point.

In summary, Waitrose & Partners - Biggin Hill is more than just a grocery store; it is a community hub that responds to the culinary needs of its patrons. The diverse array of products combined with a commitment to quality makes it a notable destination for food lovers and home chefs alike. While it faces challenges, the store’s enduring commitment to great food keeps it anchored in the hearts of its loyal customers.

Biggin Hill Waitrose in September still looks as if a bomb has fallen on it - and this even after at least months of renovations, problems with delivery(especially fresh produce such as vegetables, salads, etc) and undefined building work outside. The car park is also in a dreadful state. This was a wonderful shop, full of wonderful unique products, successfully satisfying the citizens of all Biggin Hill. And then one day, out of the blue, the shelves emptied and stared defiantly bare at the customers. The excuse was “problems with delivery”. Could these problems really stretch for so many months? And get even worse? The lovely coffee shop was scrapped - the one place where Biggin Hillers met and socialised over a lovely cup of tea! It was apparently replaced for a sushi bar which after months of renovation has not yet materialised, and today this particular area looked like a scrap yard under a lock. Not to mention the car park where a simple meintenance has stretched over two months at least, and it looks worse off then that started.Inside the shop it looks as if there has been a mass looting. There is an obvious and massive lack of products, especially fresh ones- things which one can find easily in any other respectable grocery shop. The premises look sad, sad, sad!!Is there no one from the HQ of this prestigious shop to notice and step in and sort out things? Although this is really the only reasonable-size food shop in the area, soon it will lose all its customers for the lack of care and supply. As for the terms of the renovations - there is no mention of the true building purposes and intentions or any of the dates allocated for those! However, the shop has managed to put a massive sign to say the parking will be restricted to . hours from September , not the usual hours! Why the restriction? And is this the most important information the shop considers revealing? Why put another food bar if you are going to march your customers out of the door as fast as they get in?Given two stars only for sentimental reasons - of the memories of the good shop this one used to be! It actually deserves a quarter star, if even that.

A store can as does this one provide all the food products anyone could possibly want. The members of staff to whom I've spoken have always been very helpful. though they are increasingly difficult to find: (I've since learned that waitrose has reduced its staff numbers by thousands, since , to reduce costs; it's not working, as it creates a panicky impression, and suggests that a cheeseparing approach that takes its customers for granted has been chosen: most unwise). But the photo' below demonstrates why not all of our experiences are determined by its staff, but by what mankind inflicts upon itself. For the woman whose disablement didn't prevent her from pushing a full trolley around and out of the store, but did prevent her from returning it to the trolley bay just a few yards to her left, and so abandoned it next to her car to roll into mine, before pulling away, this shall be a new thought. If she chances upon it, here, I hope this new enlightenment improves the shopping experience for future visitors.

Excellent! A good shopping experience with so much all under one (not massive!) roof. Would be a star review if it wasn’t for the creepy security guy who lurks presuming everybody is try to shop lift - mostly from the booze section. Muppet MyWaitrose is a useful perk - looking forward to receiving my personal offers!

I do really like the vast choice of organic products in this store, and the wide choice of chilled ready meals is excellent, and they taste great too, especially the Waitrose brand curries. It's also a much more pleasant shopping experience than other shops. One of my dislikes about this store, is how products just get discontinued without any notification at all, which has always left me baffled. These are also such products that are not easy to find elsewhere lcally, without putting yourself out to travel much further just to get such items, or I have to order individual products online individually for delivery. I know however, us consumers don't have a say, as such stores have a right to discotinue products without notification at anytime etc. It's just the impact it causes when you live in a small town with one main supermarket. Still one of my top favourite stores though without a doubt.
